GERALD is a product of passion, C++ research chess engine using genetic algorithms to tune it's hyperparameters and integral functions. Featuring classic search optimizations such as Alpha-Beta pruning, the quiescience search, and a handcrafted evaluation, this program is nearly unbeatable! (See gif of GERALD destryong my lousy play)

Future Plans: We plan to fully deploy the app, as well as add capabilities to handle a multitude of langauges, including but not limited to: Russian, Spanish, French, German, Sanksrit, and Italian.
